Biography

My educational background includes a BA in Psychology, an MBA in Finance and a Masters in Library and Information Science (MLIS). My career experience has been in high tech software companies, primarily in the areas of customer support services which included technical support, training and systems implementation. I have extensive experience as a liaison between non-technical customers and software engineers.

One difficulty in having been part of the exciting dot com era is that many of the companies no longer exist, or, at least, no longer exist in that particular format. This is where the value of the Wayback Machine is admirably demonstrated. The Wayback Machine is the archive of the world wide web. As stated on the website: "The Internet Archive is building a digital library of Internet sites and other cultural artifacts in digital form. Like a paper library, we provide free access to researchers, historians, scholars, and the general public." In archiving websites, the history of the web is preserved, thus creating legitimate historical records. In the Links section in the left column, I have included some archived links to the companies where I worked, to provide additional background information on my experience.
